Stalag Luft III - The Great Escape, is Game system based on the true story of the mass breakout of Allied POWs from the German Prisoner of war camp at Sagan in Poland in 1944. There are two versions of the game currently in progress. The first is a table top game using a large fully detailed scale model of the camp - much like a wargame. The second is simplified Boardgame version which is a strategy style of game. The same 28mm (1/60th scale) metal miniatures are used for both versions of the game and are available from the Ebob Miniatures website: www.ebobminiatures.comThe rules for the table top game are still in development, however a working version of the boardgame is presented here for you to download and print out, including the board itself and the cards needed to play the game. There is no charge or cost for downloading the boardgame, but I do ask that you register via the appropriate thread on this forum so that I may track who and how many people have downloaded the rules.

I edit a gaming magazine called Irregular Magazine (http://www.irregularmagazine.com), we have a readership of 5000+ per issue. I was wondering if you wanted a review or would like to include an article about the game and the process of designing it for issue 4, its too late for issue 3 due out in Jan. Issue 4 will be out March 2010.

Cheers Jason

Any news on development of the table top version? We are a group of gamers (board and mini) who meet in Frome, Somerset, UK who would like to give the minis version a go

Yeah, I'd like to know too if it's stilll alive and kicking. If the project/business is lacking funds could you not go donw the line of a Kickstarter set to get folk interested cause I think the idea looks great
