I am currently working on new Germans for Stalag Luft. The first casts were ok - but only ok. The new figures will be improved and the range extended to cover officers and Ferrets. Each mould will take up to 16 miniatures. I have completed 12 new sculpts for the German figures - just a few more to go and the greens can be sent off for casting. Some of the new greens including motorcyle MPs - can be seen in the Greenroom on the Ebob Miniatures website.. www.ebobminiatures.com/greenroom/greenroom.htm

Look great, love the MP - is Iron Cross a seperately planned system or just an alternate figure range.

Opps, last reply was from me, for some reason system logged me out. This has inspired me to get out the DVD and watch it again.

I watch 'Great Escape' and 'Cross of Iron' constantly The only reason for my 'Iron Cross' range is that some of the figures like the MPs would be useful to other wargamers - and not exclusively for The Great Escape. Also, I made the MG42 gunner - because I wanted to - but he was of no use for Stalag Luft - so he didn't fit in that range. The sniper was also the result of an inspired random moment.

I was actually thinking MG42 gunner would be usable as a tower guard - they were armed with MG weren't they ?MP will be good on the gate - sniper I havn't really thought of use for.

yess.s...s but they didn't tend to wander around in full battle dress with 42 slung over the shoulder Still! do what you will. My tower guards will be more like holding binoculars - the MG placed to one side.

Good point, ohh well still really nice models and I am sure good additions to wargamers that use that scale (I use 15mm for WWII)

Yes they are very nice models but alas at our club we also use different scales for WWII (1/72 and also 1/300)
