Anyone planning to attend Salute this year? (April 23rd)
I shall be there as a demo game - so do come and say hi if you pop your head in.

It's quite a long way for me too - but Salute is the largest games and miniatures show of the year. I think Tripples might be closer to you though if I'm not mistaken.

I will probably attend as i live in essex wich is really quite close to london. Shall i bring my tunnel Ebob so you can show it as part of the model and are you going to take a few pakets of figures to sell on the day?? By the way there is also a massive wargamming association in Milton Keynes wich is quite big and they do it once a year. Mabey i could attend that and take my tunnel and camp board there to and demonstrate the game to get more intrest on the website.

I won't be attending Tripples - it's too far for me I'm afraid - but I understand it's a good show. There's nothing to stop you setting up a table at show as a 'demo game' - that's what I'm doing - it's free to have a demo table - and you get into the show for free - I think Salute is £8 to get in. - checkout the website www.salute.co.ukI've already got a tunnel on my board - hopefully I'll manage to finish it in time.

I can't sell anything at Salute as I haven't paid for a stand - but my minis will be available on Bolt Action Miniatures stand - and possibly Gamers Quest.
I am considering running a competition though - for a prize - maybe a T-shirt or if I get round to it a limited mini perhaps.

wow sounds good, and how do you make your tunnel connect to your board as my tunnel has no means of connecting

well, my tunnel is like a shelf on it's side. It goes half the length of the table along the edge of the board. It's attached to the board using 'L' shape shelf supports. and it decends from one of the huts which I have cut in half. I don't have a photo - but here's the 3D graphic I did when I was planning it.

well, being graphic artist helps - it's my job. I have all the flashy programmes I need at work - when I should be working The 3D huts are only very simple models - but I use the same textures designed for the paper huts - so they look the same. The 3D camp enables me to try out ideas before I build them - and also I used the 3D camp to generate the graphic for the board game. It's cool to take a look from the tower too - and because I have measured the position of the huts exactly to my actual board - what I see from the tower on the 3D camp is what you will see if you put your face behind my model tower.
