70 prisoners escaped from Stalag Luft III during the Great Escape. Most were picked up very soon after - but 3 made a 'home run'.
F/Lt Peter Bergsland - Norwegian
Jens Muller - Norwegian
both reached England via Sweden
and F/Lt Bob van der Stok - Dutch
reached England via Spain
