The new Opel Blitz is a white metal kit. 1/56 scale (28mm compatible).
It will be available from 31st March priced £18 (UK).
It will make it's debut at the Tripples Show in Sheffiled - Sat 19th and Sun 20th March 2005 and will be available on the 'Wargames Command Post' stand (on the 5th floor)
Note that the cargo in the rear ( oil drums, crates and weapons) is not included with the standard kit.
On this model, I have replaced the folded canvas supports with some made from wire. Similarly the wing mirror and two convoy markers on the front wings are simply made from wire.
Note also the alternative stowage postion for the shovel and pick.
This model shows the windscreen and side window glass in place. The windscreen etc is cut from the blister packaging.
