Hi Ebob and everyone else. I have been eyeing the great escape miniatures off for some time, happened to come across your site through several of the Lord of the Rings miniatures sites I frequent. I loved the concept of this game from the onset, as I’m a total nut for WWII memorabilia and movies (The Great Escape being one of my favourites). When I saw you had released a full board game set I just couldn’t help myself, and much to my girlfriends’ disgust, I went ahead and went through the Paypal system and purchased it. (Which I must say made it very easy.) I can’t wait for them to arrive. In the mean time it should give me enough time to construct a board and get ready. I will at some point down the track offer some of my time and register as a tester, after all, I’d be more than happy too considering the amount of time you have evidently invested, and the most amazing part, at no cost to the gamer (obviously excluding miniatures).

Thanks Rod, your miniatures were dispatched air-mail yesterday. I should imagine you'll see them in 5 to 7 days - provided Xmas post doesn't cause delay.
Let me know when they arrive safely.
Ebob.

Precious - can you tell me please what size (in millimetres) the standard paper size is in Australia?
Over here a standard letter (A4) is 210 wide by 297 high. How does that compare?

Excellent - so it's just the US that have to be different What kind of size is Five and seven Sixteenths anyway! Although I must admit we're all over the place in the UK. We measure small things in mm's - but we measure our manhood in inches. Milk comes in pints - but lemonade comes in litres. We say he is 3 metres away - but London is 70 miles. Small things are weighed in grams - but people are weighed in Stones - And noone knows how heavy a kilo is!

I know this is getting tragically off topic but….
We have it pretty good over here. Almost everything is in the metric system, and it’s only some of the older generation and some industries such as builders, plumbers etc. who still talk feet & inches. Although that has drastically changed over the last 10 years or so and most have come around to it
Thanks for getting that stuff away so quickly.

No problem.
I used to live in Melbourne by the way - although I was only 7.
